Major Ukraine pipe enterprises report production down 31.1% in Q1

KIEV, April 19 - The major pipe enterprises of Ukraine in January-March 2017 increased production of pipes by 31.1% compared to the same period last year, to 243,700 tons, including in March they manufactured 83,900 tons.


Ukraine reports $98 billion reduction of trade with Russians

KIEV, April 20 - The volume of trade between Ukraine and Russia, earlier considered as the largest trading partner of the country, in 2012-2015 fell by a total of $98 billion mainly due to the introduction of illegal and discriminatory trade restrictions, Ukraine reported in a review of trade policy submitted to the World Trade Organization.

Russian gas talks must wait for Stockholm ruling, energy minister says

KIEV, April 20 - Ukraine will not seek talks with Russia over natural gas prices until after a ruling by the Stockholm court later this year, Ihor Nasalyk, the newly appointed energy and coal industry minister, said Wednesday.

“There won’t be any talks until the Stockholm litigation is over,” Nasalyk told reporters.
