World Bank to provide $240-mln to Ukrenergo to improve reliability
KYIV, July 19 – NPC Ukrenergo, the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Finance have signed two agreements with the World Bank to provide the company with grant assistance in the amount of $240 million to improve the power system reliability, Volodymyr Kudrytsky, Board Chairman of Ukrenergo, said.

Norway’s Emergy to raise funding for two Ukrainian wind farm projects
KYIV, July 19 - The Norwegian company Emergy (formerly NBT) plans to close a deal to raise financing for the first two phases of Zophia Wind Farm (Zaporizhia region) with an installed capacity of 337 MW by the end of July, Emergy Vice President Magnus Johansen has told reporters in Kyiv.

Ukraine’s economy expands 6% on year in Q2: ministry
KYIV, July 19 - The Ministry of Economy has estimated the growth of Ukraine's GDP in April-June 2021 at 6%, for January-May - at 0.7%, according to the ministry's website.
"The growth in the second quarter of 2021 will be about 6%," the ministry said.

Ministry says 1,530 hectares of farmland changed hands since July 1
KYIV, July 20 - Since the launch of the land market on July 1 and as of the morning of July 19, some 1,107 land transactions have been carried out in Ukraine for agricultural plots with a total area of 1,530 hectares, the leaders in terms of the number of contracts concluded are Poltava and Kharkiv regions, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food said on its website.

SOCAR to send batch of Azeri crude oil to Belarus via Ukraine
BAKU, July 20 - SOCAR, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic, plans to send a new batch of Azerbaijani oil to Belarus at the end of July.
"We are planning to send a batch of oil to Belarus from the Georgian port of Supsa on July 30-31," Deputy Head of the public relations and events department at SOCAR Ibrahim Ahmadov said.
He said that the volume of this batch will be about 650,000 barrels.
