Chevron Ukraine PSA will be approved next month, says energy minister

KIEV, Aug. 28 – A production sharing agreement between the state of Ukraine, Chevron Ukraine B.V. and Nadra Oleska LLC on the Oleska deposit (Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv regions) will be approved by Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Councils in September, predicts Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytsky.

Ukrainian Sich-2 satellite conducts first survey of Earth’s surface

KIEV, Aug. 29 – The Ukrainian Sich-2 earth observation satellite, which was put into a geostationary orbit by Dnepr launch vehicle on August 17 from a Russian launch base, has successfully conducted its first scheduled survey of the Earth's surface.
