Germany's Leoni AG to open second cable network plant in Ukraine in Sept

KYIV, Aug 28 – Germany's Leoni AG, which has a factory for production of cable networks for cars in Stryi (Lviv region), is planning to officially open the second plant in Ukraine in Kolomyia (Ivano-Frankivsk region) on September 29, plant director Ruslan Grem has told Interfax-Ukraine.


Moody’s upgrades Ukraine’s rating to Caa2, changes outlook to positive

KYIV, Aug 28 - Moody's Investors Service has upgraded the government of Ukraine's local and foreign currency issuer and senior unsecured ratings to Caa2 from Caa3, and changed the rating outlook to positive from stable, reads a report on the website of the rating agency.

Heat supply companies will reduce gas consumption 5%, says official

KIEV, Aug. 28 - The Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Utilities Economy Ministry expects that heat supply companies will reduce gas consumption by 5% in the 2013/14 heating season, to 8.1 billion cubic meters, Minister Hennadiy Temnyk said at a briefing on Wednesday.
