Donbas Fuel Energy plans to invest $380 million to upgrade plants

DONETSK, Nov. 20 - Donbas Fuel Energy Company (DTEK) plans to invest $380 million in 2007-2012 into the upgrade and development of the Zuyevskaya, Kurakhovskaya and Luganskaya thermal power plants, DTEK Director for Generation and Distribution Garry Levesley has said.

Germany??™s Siemens AG finishes fiscal year with 81% increase in sales

KIEV, Nov. 20 - Siemens AG Concern (Germany), one of the world's largest telecommunications equipment producers, finished the 2005/2006 fiscal year on Sept. 30 with an increase its sales of 81%, to EUR 369 million, while its order portfolio increased by 113% and reached a EUR 471 million record, according to the company financial report for the period sent to Interfax-Ukraine.


UkrNafta to announce results of tender for gas processing plants

KIEV, Nov. 20 ??“ UkrNafta, Ukraine's largest oil producer, will in the middle of December announce the results of a tender to select a general contractor to build the first part of the Hamaliyivsky gas processing plant in Poltava region and to upgrade the Pasychniansky gas processing plant in Ivano-Frankivsk region.


RosUkr Energo signs 3-year contract to supply gas to Polish monopoly

MOSCOW, Nov. 20 - The Swiss trader RosUkrEnergo AG, in which Russia's Gazprom has a 50% stake, signed a three-year contract on Friday to supply gas to Polish gas monopoly PGNiG in 2007-2009.

A source in RosUkrEnergo told Interfax that, according to the document, the supplies would amount to 2.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year. This will account for about one fifth of Polish gas supplies.


AMC, at security council urging, to investigate UkrGaz-Energo
