Odesa Port-Side Plant shuts operation due to rising natural gas prices

KYIV, Sept 20 – Ukraine’s Odesa Port-Side Plant, a major producer and exporter of fertilizers, shut down operation over the weekend in reaction to skyrocketing natural gas prices, First Deputy Director of the enterprise Mykola Schurikov reported.


Metinvest raises $333-mln via Eurobond issue amid strong demand

KYIV, Sept 17 - Metinvest is placing seven-year eurobonds worth $333 million with a yield of 7.95%, a banking industry source said, Interfax-Ukraine reported.

The company was originally expecting the yield at 8.5%, but it had dropped due to higher demand for the paper. The source added that the demand for bonds exceeded $ 1.6 billion.
