Ukraine must buy nuclear units from Bulgaria, keep them at Khmelnytsky NPP
KYIV, Jan 16 – Ukrainian Minister of Energy Herman Haluschenko considers the Khmelnytsky Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) site safe for storing reactor cores intended for the completion of reactor 3 and reactor 4. He insists on expediently purchasing them from Bulgaria due to the expiration of the parliament's permission for such a sale on March 11.

Ukraine’s inflation likely to accelerate to 12.1% in 2025, KSE forecasts
KYIV, Jan 16 – Experts from the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) in their updated macro forecast have worsened their expectations for average annual inflation in 2025 to 12.1% from 8.8% in the previous October forecast, while maintaining their estimate for real GDP growth this year at 3.6%.

Ukraine’s goods exports up 15% on year to $41.7-bln in 2024, CES reports
KYIV, Jan 17 – In 2024, Ukraine increased its goods exports by 15%, reaching $41.7 billion, with agricultural exports contributing $20.9 billion, or 50% of total export revenue. This data was highlighted in a monthly report on Ukraine's wartime economy by the Centre for Economic Strategy (CES) in collaboration with the German Economic Team (GET).
