Government agency drawing plan for energy conservation through 2020

KIEV, Oct. 18 – The State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving is drawing up a national plan of action on the introduction of energy efficiency and the development of renewable energy sources for the period until 2020, the agency's head, Mykola Pashkevych, said.

KIEV, Oct. 18 – Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has estimated the cost of the reconstruction of Bortnychi aeration plant in Kiev in UAH 3.5 billion.

"There is the Bortnychi aeration plant. It's necessary to finally resolve this stinking problem...It costs UAH 3.5 billion, and this the budget of the average region of Ukraine," he told the journalists in Kiev on Wednesday.

ArcelorMittal rejects smuggling claim, accuses authorities of bias

Ukraine and EBRD sign off on EUR175 million for Zaporizhia nuke plant
