Most Ukrainians believe it’s too early to lift farm land sale ban

KYIV, Sept 27 – More than half of Ukrainians do not approve of the lifting of the moratorium on agricultural land sales, and 64% believe that this issue should be resolved in a referendum, according to a study conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS)on September 16-19, 2019.

Ukraine’s Finance Ministry sees Russia’s Nord Stream 2 as key risk

KYIV, Sept 26 – Ukraine's Ministry of Finance has listed Gazprom's implementation of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline project among main fiscal risks.

"The implementation of the Nord Stream 2 project will result in losses due to a decrease in exports of services by about 2.5-3% of GDP (only direct losses)," the ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
