AVentures Group to open 500 Piatachok stores in two years
KIEV, Sept. 21 - By the end of 2007, AVentures Group is planning to open around 500 Piatachok stores in Ukraine, 100-120 Unitrade stores, and 40 City.com hypermarkets, the company reported, citing AVentures Group holding's president Volodymyr Kolodiuk. |
Ukraine’s inflation to accelerate to 7.8% in 2024 vs. 6.4% earlier expected
KYIV, Aug 20 - Inflation in Ukraine in 2024 will accelerate to 7.8% instead of the previously expected 6.4%, economic growth will be 4% against 4.1% in the April forecast, and the likelihood of limited monetary financing of the budget deficit has increased, such are the main updates made to its macro forecast by the ICU investment group.

U.K., Northern Ireland sign GBP 90-mln ammo contract for Ukraine
KYIV, Aug 18 – Three contracts for the supply of air defense equipment for Ukraine worth more than GBP 90 million ($114 million) were signed by the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on behalf of the UK-administered International Fund for Ukraine.
