Ukraine plans to build major petroleum product terminal near Odessa

KIEV, Nov. 20 - Ukraine plans to build a 2.5 million metric ton petroleum product terminal near the port of Odessa on the Black Sea, according to plans released by the state oil shipper UkrTransNafta on Tuesday.


Ukraine’s coal reserves up 3% on rising domestic supplies, imports

KIEV, Nov. 20 - Ukraine’s coal reserves rose 3% over the past seven days to 1.871 million mt as of Monday, underscoring accelerated domestic supplies and imports from South Africa and Poland.


DTEK increases coal output 4.1% on year in January-September

KIEV, Nov. 18 – DTEK energy holding in January-September 2016 increased coal production by 4.1% year-over-year, to 22.31 million tons.

The company said in a press release that run-of-mine coal over the period grew by 16.9%, to 17.135 million tons and concentrate production rose by 20.8%, to 10.776 million tons.


Ukraine’s power exports up 5.8% on year in January-October

KIEV, Nov. 18 - Ukraine in January-October 2016 increased exports of electricity by 5.8% (by 176.5 million kWh) compared to the same period in 2015, to 3.204 billion kWh, a source in the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry has told Interfax-Ukraine.
