Court freezes bank accounts used to raise funds for Maidan protests
KIEV, Jan. 22 - A court considering a lawsuit filed by the Ukrainian Trade Unions' Federation which asked for compensation for the damage caused to its property by protestors has frozen all the bank accounts used to raise funds for the Euromaidan and Automaidan, the Law and Business newspaper said on Wednesday. |
Agricultural ministry proposes poultry moisture content requirements
KIEV, Jan. 21 – The Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry has said that requirements on the moisture content of poultry should be introduced.
"Ukrainian-reared poultry will become more competitive on the foreign market if Ukraine introduces the single requirement on the moisture content [of poultry]. The regulation of moisture content will help protect Ukrainian consumers from poultry with increased levels of moisture," the ministry said. |
