Ukraine’s emission reducing program may cost EUR 5.2-bln over 10 years
KYIV, June 18 – The scenario of the environmental modernization of Ukrainian thermal power plants (TPPs) in order to achieve national targets for reducing emissions in the next 10 years will cost Ukraine EUR 5.2 billion, or 10% more than the scenario of gradual decommissioning of thermal generation, Finnish company Wartsila Energy told Interfax-Ukraine.

Zelenskiy signs bill to exempt airlines from duties on foreign aircraft imports
KYIV, June 22 – President Volodymyr Zelensky signed the bill on amending section XXI Final and Transitional Provisions of the Customs Code of Ukraine on the extension until January 1, 2025 of the exemption of airlines from customs duties when importing foreign aircraft weighing up to 30 tons and passenger capacity from 44 to 110 seats.

Ukraine’s gas storage facilities undergo metering system upgrade
KYIV, June 19 – Ukrainian underground gas storage (UGS) facilities are carrying out the technical refurbishing of their equipment, which will allow the transfer to gas metering in energy units (kWh) by the end of 2020, the Ukrtransgaz's (UTG) press service said on Thursday.
