Former Economy Minister pays $200 mln for 61% stake in Inter Television
 KIEV, Sept. 22 - Valeriy Khoroshkovskiy, a businessman and a former Economy Minister, paid $200 million for 61% stake in Inter Television, Ukraine's largest network, a Russian newspaper reported Thursday.
The deal, which was closed in July, values Inter at about $330 mln, but Khoroshkovskiy believes the company's value will grow to $1 bln within the next three years. |
Kernel says $20-mln needed to restore grain storages after Russian attacks
KYIV, Aug 21 – The current preliminary estimate of the necessary capital expenditure (CapEx) for the Kernel agricultural holding to repair and restore equipment that was damaged or destroyed during the recent attacks is at least $20 million, according to its announcement on the Warsaw Stock Exchange on Saturday night.

Ukraine’s economy slows down growth to 8% on year in July, IER reports
KYIV, August 21 – The growth of Ukraine's real gross domestic product (GDP) slowed down to 8% in July compared to the same period last year from 15% in June, primarily due to the high statistical base, as the rate of GDP decline in the third quarter of last year slowed down significantly, according to the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting (IER).

Kernel sees good prospects after completing harvesting of winter grain
KYIV, Aug 21 – Agricultural holding Kernel, one of the largest in Ukraine, has almost completed the harvesting of winter wheat on an area of 60,000 hectares and winter rapeseed from 10,000 hectares, and notes an increase in yields for them and predicts an increase in production of all crops in the 2023 season, according to the company's announcement on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
