ENTSO-E boosts by 50 MW capacity for Ukraine’s power exports

KYIV, Sept 22 – The European Network of Transmission System Operators (ENTSO-E) has increased the capacity for electricity export between Ukraine and Europe by 50 MW at night since September 23, NPC Ukrenergo reported on Wednesday.


EBRD, IFC to invest $80-mln in Horizon Capital Growth Fund IV in Ukraine

KYIV, Sept 22 – The International Finance Corporation (IFC) from the World Bank Group will enter the capital of a new fund managed by Horizon Capital – Horizon Capital Growth Fund IV (HCGF IV) with an equity commitment of $30 million, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) with an equity commitment of $50 million.

Coronavirus quarantine had moderate impact on insurance firms: NBU

KYIV, Sept 21 - The results of reporting for the first half of the year showed a moderate impact of quarantine on the activities of Ukrainian insurers, but it affected the volume of lending by non-bank financial institutions, Olha Maksymchuk, the head of the insurance market supervision department of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), said.
