EBRD may provide EUR100-mln to MHP to pay for Slovenian firm

KYIV, Jan 22 - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) could issue EUR100 million to Myronivsky Hliboproduct agricultural holding (MHP) for the purchase of the Slovenian company Perutnina Ptuj, the EBRD reported on its website.

Nikopol, Zaporizhia ferroalloy plants increase output 0.8% in 2018

KYIV, Jan 23 – Large ferroalloy enterprises of Ukraine – Nikopol and Zaporizhia Ferroalloy plants – in 2018 increased production by 0.8% compared with 2017, to 1.035 million tons.

The Ukrainian Association of Ferroalloy Manufacturers told Interfax-Ukraine that over the period silicon-manganese production grew by 6%, to 859,640 tons, while ferromanganese output fell by 30.6%, to 79,480 tons.


Naftogaz lukewarm to Gazprom’s proposal to extend gas transit deal

KYIV, Jan 22 – National energy company Naftogaz Ukrayiny believes the extension of the gas transit contract with Russia's Gazprom on the current conditions is not advisable, it does not have any guarantees for the volumes of gas transit, Naftogaz Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Yuriy Vitrenko said.


UkrNafta cuts oil, gas output 9.2% on year on 2017

KYIV, Jan 19 – Ukrnafta in 2017 reduced oil and gas condensate production by 9.2% (by 139,000 tons) compared to 2016, to 1.379 million tons, the company's press service said.
