KIEV, Dec. 28 – Austrian-based Activ Solar has completed the final, fifth 20 megawatt, phase of the Perove solar power plant, bringing its capacity to 100 megawatts.

The PV modules cover an area of over 200 hectares and will produce 132.5 million kilowatt hours of electricity per year. Activ Solar says the park will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 105,000 tons per year.

MOSCOW, Dec. 28 - Russian nuclear fuel producer OJSC TVEL and Ukraine's national nuclear power company EnergoAtom signed a contract on the supply of nuclear fuel to Ukrainian power plants in 2010, a TVEL press release says.
