Construction co offers sympathy for slain, offers to rebuild Kiev

KIEV, Feb. 24 – The employees and top managers of Kyivmiskbud Holding, one of the largest construction companies in Ukraine, has expressed their sincere condolences to the families of killed protesters in Ukraine and said that the holding is ready to restore the center of Kiev, Ihor Kushnir, president and chairman, said in an official statement.


New declarations to appear on medical import licenses, says official

KIEV, Feb. 21 – From March 1 to December 1, 2013 receiving licenses to make medicine imports to Ukraine will bear a declarative principle to prevent there being obstacles to importing these products to Ukraine, Health Minster Raisa Bohatyriova said.

Interpipe to complete electric furnace steelmaking complex this year

KIEV, Feb. 24 – Interpipe, Ukraine’s biggest steel pipe producer, plans to complete construction of an electric furnace steelmaking complex and will start tests of its equipment by the end of 2011, Interpipe said in a statement Thursday.

More toxic mélange rocket fuel sent to Russia from Ivano-Frankivsk

IVANO-FRANKIVSK, Feb. 23 - Another 470 tons of melange, a highly toxic liquid rocket fuel component, has been sent to Russia for disposal from the military warehouses of the Western Operative Command of the Ukrainian Ground Forces near the village of Tsenzhev, Ivano-Frankivsk region, the Defense Ministry reported.
