Revenue at Ukrainian VimpelCom subsidiary URS off by 76.7%
MOSCOW, June 21 - Revenue at Ukrainian RadioSystems (URS), the Ukrainian subsidiary of Russia's VimpelCom, whose purchase in 2005 sparked a conflict among VimpelCom shareholders, turned out to be 76.7% less than the amount indicated in a business plan the company issued prior to the completion of the deal, Norway's Telenor, a shareholder in the Russian company, said in a statement. |
General tariff for natgas deliveries to grow by 4.7% on July 1
KIEV, June 21 - The general tariff for natural gas deliveries via pipelines will grow in Ukraine by 4.7% from the current UAH 96.3 per 1,000 cubic meters (excluding VAT here and elsewhere) starting on July 1, 2007. The Ukrainian National Electrical Power Control Commission approved the tariff increase at a meeting on Thursday. |
NBU plans to introduce UAH 100,000 limit on money transfers between people
KYIV, May 23 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), as part of the fight against money laundering, plans to introduce restrictions on the number of transfers by individuals (P2P, person-to-person) - up to 30 per month, with an amount limit of up to UAH 100,000, within the next 30 days for the period of martial law, the central bank said at a meeting with reporters on Thursday.

Ukraine’s gas stocks likely to reach 14 Bcm ahead of 2024 winter
KYIV, May 23 - Gas reserves in Ukrainian gas storage facilities by the beginning of the autumn-winter period of 2023-2024 should be more than 14 billion cubic meters (bcm), Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said following a meeting of the Anti-Crisis Energy Headquarters.
