Ukraine could have new metals agreement by year end, says EC official

KIEV, Oct. 23 - Ukraine and the European Union could have a new agreement on trade in selected steel commodities in 2007 ready by the end of 2006, Roelof Plijter, head of the European Commission Directorate-General for Trade, told a metals forum in Kiev.


Moody??™s assigns B2 rating to Bank Forum notes; Outlook positive

Telenor dispute with Strom Ltd. headed to court in New York

He highlighted that large areas of land in Ukraine have been degraded due to war and natural factors. Restoring such land is expensive, while conservation leads to wasted time and resources.


Ukraine seeks ‘gradual’ transition of farmers to EU standards

European Commission to select banks to finance Ukraine’s businesses
