DTEK Pavlohradvuhillia launches 1.56-MW cogeneration unit at Stepova mine

KYIV, Jan 28 – Pershotravensk mine management, part of DTEK Pavlohradvuhillia, together with Ukrainian Recycling Solutions, put into operation a cogeneration unit at Stepova mine for the production of electricity and heat from coal mine methane with an electric capacity of 1.56 MW.


J.P. Morgan keeps neutral position on Ukraine assets amid IMF uncertainty

KYIV, Jan 27 – J.P. Morgan remains neutral in relation to Ukrainian assets due to the uncertainty of the issue of continuing cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), according to the report of the investment bank, which is available to Interfax-Ukraine.

"We maintain a neutral position on local assets, as fundamental support is expected to weaken, as well as due to uncertainty over the timing of the IMF tranche receipt," the J.P. Morgan report said.


Ukrnafta cuts oil production 1% on year to 1.5-mln in 2020

KYIV, Jan 27 – Ukrnafta in 2020 reduced production of oil and condensate by 1% (by 15,000 tons) compared to 2019, to 1.5 million tons, and gas by 3% (by 35 million cubic meters), to 1.127 billion cubic meters, but increased the production of liquefied gas by 4.5% (by 5,000 tons), to 117,000 tons.

UkrNafta increases oil output 4.7% on year in 2019
