Ukraine’s retail sales down 3.1% on year in May
KYIV, June 23 – Retail trade turnover in Ukraine in May in comparison with May 2019 in comparable prices fell by 3.1%, while in April it fell by 14.9%, the State Statistics Service has said.

EBRD sends COVID-19 mitigation measures to Ukraine as cases accelerate
KYIV, June 23 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has provided an overview of COVID-19 mitigation measures to be considered by the Ukrainian authorities, business and proposed by professional associations. Ukrainian fertilizer producers prepare to push for import quotas
KYIV, June 25 – Ukrainian producers of mineral fertilizers are preparing to appeal the refusal of the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade to impose quotas on the import of relevant products into Ukraine, according to a statement by the Union of Chemists of Ukraine made on Wednesday.

Ukraine renews Skhidny’s uranium ore processing license
KYIV, June 25 – The State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine has renewed the license for the processing of uranium ores by state-owned enterprise Skhidny Ore Mining and Processing Plant (Skhidny Mining, Zhovti Vody, Dnipropetrovsk region).
