EBA predicts more investment in agriculture after controversial law repealed
KYIV, Aug 20 – Cancellation of discriminatory restrictions on the import of samples of plant protection agents for state testing and scientific research only after confirmation of their registration in the country of production will increase investment in Ukrainian agrochemical science this year by 30-50%, as well as modernize equipment and create new jobs for scientists.

Most people see Ukraine going in ‘wrong direction,’ poll finds
KYIV, Aug 21 – Some 73.1% of Ukrainians believe that events in the country are developing in the wrong direction, 26.9% think that in the right direction, according to the results of an all-Ukrainian sociological survey of the population, conducted by the Social Monitoring Center from August 8 to August 15, 2020 and presented at press conference at the Interfax-Ukraine agency on Friday.

ERU buys natural gas in Greece for delivery to Ukraine via Romania
KYIV, Aug 25 - ERU Trading purchased natural gas in Greece with its subsequent delivery through Romania to Ukraine.
"Now these are test supplies, which are aimed at the needs of the domestic market. But the main goal of this project is the possibility of further access to the Revithoussa LNG terminal, which increases the diversification of gas supplies on the European continent and strengthens Ukraine's position as an Eastern European energy hub," the group said in a press release.
