Westinghouse says it will supply Energatom fuel despite bankruptcy

KIEV, March 30 – Despite its parent company’s declaring bankruptcy, Westinghouse Electric Sweden, a division of Westinghouse Electric Company (the United States), will produce and supply nuclear fuel to six Ukrainian VVER-1000 reactors under a contract with Energoatom.


Ukraine and South Korea report progress on aerospace cooperation

KIEV, March 30 – Ukraine and South Korea are working on boosting cooperation in the aerospace sector.

The State Space Agency of Ukraine (SSAU) reported that further development of promising cooperation in the sphere was discussed at the fifth meeting of the Ukrainian-South Korean committee for scientific and technical cooperation of the relevant joint working group.


EnergoAtom signs deal with Westinghouse to supply BEACON software

KIEV, March 29 – National Nuclear Generating Company EnergoAtom has signed a contract with Westinghouse Electric Company on supply of the BEACON software for the active zone monitoring system at reactor five of Zaporizhia nuclear power plant (NPP), the company reported on Tuesday.


EBRD provides €10 billion to Credit Agricole to boost Ukraine exports

Australia and Ukraine to sign agreement on nuclear energy use
