Law companies expect from 10 to 15 IPOs in coming 12 months
LONDON, May 26 – Law companies expect that in the coming 12 months there will be from ten to 15 initial public offerings (IPOs) of issuers with assets in Ukraine, while investment bankers expect that their number will be from six to 20, according to a study conducted by Ernst&Young. |
Government updates 2011-2012 marketing year grain export projection
KIEV, May 25 - Ukraine is planning in the 2011-2012 marketing year (from July 1) to export eight to nine million tons of wheat, five to six million tons of barley and four million tons of corn, which totals 19-20 million tons of grain, the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry forecasts. |

EnergoAtom choosing between standard designs for new nuclear plants
KIEV, May 25 – State-run EnergoAtom is holding consultations with Russia's Rosatom, Canada's AECL, Korea's KEPCO, France's AREVA, and U.S.-based Westinghouse to choose a standard design for the reactors of new nuclear power facilities in the country, EnergoAtom First Vice President and technical director Ivan Foltov announced this at the 18th international conference on nuclear engineering (ICONE18) in Xi'an (China) on May 17-20.

Regulator: Conditions for Ukrtelecom privatization to be revised
KIEV, May 26 – The conditions of Ukrtelecom’s privatization are to be revised, and the cabinet even could revise its decision to sell the whole of its stake in the company, according to Volodymyr Zverev, a member of the National Communications Regulatory Commission. |
