Russian nod needed for Turkmen gas pact

Ukraine harvests 54.23-mln mt of grain as of Sept 23, ministry reports

KYIV, Sept 24 – Ukraine continues to harvest grain and leguminous crops, as of September 23, 1.1 million tons of corn were harvested (a rise of 0.69 million tons in the week starting on September 16 and ending on September 23) from 226,800 hectares (4% of planned areas), the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food said on the website on Friday.
