Ukraine to build nuclear fuel manufacturing facility at Yuzhnoukrayinsk

KYIV, Feb 26 – Ukraine plans to build a nuclear fuel fabrication plant at the site of the Yuzhnoukrainsk nuclear power plant (NPP), announcing a tender to build and finance the project in autumn 2019, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Ihor Nasalyk has said.

Ukraine’s manufacturing output down 3.3% on year in January

KYIV, Feb 27 - Industrial production in Ukraine in January decreased by 3.3% compared with January 2018, whereas in January last year its growth by 4.3% was recorded, the State Statistics Service has reported.


Capital investment in Ukraine up 22.1% on year in 2017

KYIV, Feb 27 - Capital investments in Ukraine in 2017 grew by 22.1% against 18% in 2016, the State Statistics Service has reported.

According to the service, over the past year UAH 412.8 billion of capital investments (excluding the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, Sevastopol and part of the ATO zone) were used.


BNP Paribas to buy out UkrSibbank minority shareholders

KYIV, Feb 27 - BNP Paribas S.A. (France) has increased its stake in UkrSibbank (Kyiv) to 60% from 59.99%, the Ukrainian bank reported in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.
