Ukraine’s Consumer Confidence Index drops to 72.6 in May
KYIV, June 27 – The Consumer Confidence Index of Ukrainians in May decreased by 5 points and amounted to 72.6 points (on a scale from zero to 200), while the indices of current personal financial standing and economic expectations over the next year decreased significantly, the study of the Info Sapiens agency shows.

Ukraine’s 2024 economic growth forecast lowered due to power outages
LUXEMBOURG, May 27 – The previously forecasted growth of Ukraine's real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2024, which was 4.6%, has been revised down to 3.5% due to recent destruction of energy infrastructure by Russian aggressors and the resulting energy shortages, reported Ukraine's Deputy Finance Minister Olha Zykova.

Pokrovsky Mining builds 1 MW solar power plant to resume production
KYIV, May 27 – Private Joint Stock Company Pokrovsky Mining and Processing Plant (formerly Ordzhonikidze Mining and Processing Plant, Dnipropetrovsk region) due to a lack of electricity, will presumably continue to stand idle and is building its own solar power plant (SPP) by September with a capacity of 1 MW.

Ukraine to start natural gas market liberalization on July 1
KYIV, May 26 – The liberalization of the natural gas market for internal consumers, planned on July 1, will put a customer at the central position instead of a supplier, Naftogaz Group's Chief Transformation Officer Otto Waterlander has said.
