Fuel duties will create unfair market, say gas station owners

NBU appeals to IMF for Standby money to support balance of payments

NCRC suspends 3g license tender, bowing to president, prosecutor
KIEV, Nov. 27 – The National Communications Regulatory Commission unanimously decided on Friday to suspend its upcoming 3G license tender.
The commission received instructions from the Public Prosecutor General's Office to cancel the 3G license tender scheduled for Nov. 27, until the Defense Ministry, the Transport and Communications Ministry, and Public Prosecutor General's Office carry out the conversion of the radiofrequency (RF) bands in keeping with the RF resource law and government resolutions in effect. |
Ukrainians sell 3 million carbon emission rights to Spanish
KIEV, Nov. 27 – The National Environmental Investment Agency of Ukraine and the Ministry of the Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs of Spain will sign a contract on the purchase and sale of three million carbon emission rights, also known as assigned amount units (AAU), under the Kyoto Protocol. |

Naftogaz Ukrayiny chairman disputes 11 bcm gas appropriation charges
KIEV, Nov. 30 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny Chairman Oleh Dubyna said that the claims of Centragas Beteiligungs Holding AG (Vienna) - the owner of a 50% stake in Switzerland-registered RosUkrEnergo (RUE) - against Ukraine regarding 11 billion cubic meters of gas, which was earlier expropriated from RUE by Naftogaz Ukrayiny, are illogical. |
