Switzerland's Stadler in discussions over railroad projects in Ukraine

KYIV, Jan 29 – President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed prospects for cooperation in modernizing the rolling stock of the Ukrainian railway, suburban and urban rail transport during a meeting with a delegation of Switzerland's Stadler Rail AG headed by President of the Board, co-owner of the group Peter Spuhler.


Canadian companies seek to install ‘green’ power units in Luhansk region

Sea Port Authority signs acceptance certificate for a section for Yuzhny seaport

KYIV, Jan 30 – The Ukrainian Sea Port Authority on January 30, 2018 signed the acceptance certificate for a section of the Yuzhny seaport (Odesa region) near newly created berth No. 25 where dredging works were carried out and which would ensure operating of the new grain terminal of Cargill and M.V.Cargo.

Kyivstar buys right to use radio frequencies to develop 4G network

KYIV, Jan 31 – The largest mobile communications operator of Ukraine Kyivstar at a tender of the National Commission for Communications Regulation (NCCR) bought the right to use radio frequencies in the 2530-2535/2,650-2655 MHz, 2525-2530/2645-2650 MHz and 2520-2525/2640-2645 MHz ranges for UAH 916.3 million to develop 4G network, which was in line with the company's plans.

KYIV, Jan 31 – The surplus of Ukraine's balance of payment in 2017 doubled compared with 2016, reaching $2.566 billion ($1.346 billion in 2016), according to preliminary data posted on the official website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).


Gazprom reduces pumping via Nord Stream pipeline and OPAL branch

MOSCOW, Feb. 1 - Gazprom has reduced pumping of gas via the Nord Stream pipeline and its eastern branch OPAL as of February 1 due to a court injunction imposed in a lawsuit by the Russian gas giant's Polish opponents, data from European gas transport operators show.
