Gazprom cuts pressure in pipelines carrying gas to Europe via Ukraine

KYIV, March 1 - Gazprom on Thursday lowered pressure in pipelines carrying Russian natural gas to Europe through Ukrainian gas transportation system, the state gas shipper Ukrtransgaz reported.


Gazprom refuses to supply gas to Ukraine

KYIV, March 1 – Gazprom on Thursday refused to begin natural gas supplies to Ukraine putting significant strain on the country’s gas infrastructure that has been already running at maximum capacity due to frigid weather.


Naftogaz subsidiary reports sharp drops in gas flow from Russia

KIEV, March 1 – The operator of the Ukrainian gas transport system, Ukrtransgaz, a subsidiary of national joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrayiny, in the past days has recorded sharp drops in gas pressure maintained at the Sudzha gas metering station, the entry point to the Ukrainian gas transport system from the direction of Russia.


Government predicts 21.5% uranium concentrate 2017 production growth

KIEV, Feb. 28 – Ukraine's Energy and Coal Industry Ministry expects uranium concentrate production to grow by 21.5% or 215,900 tons in 2017, to 1,221 tons.
