EBRD, after providing EUR 1.2-bln to Ukraine, says support will continue
KYIV, Sept 29 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which allocated EUR 1.7 billion in financing to Ukraine last year, has provided another EUR 1.2 billion since the beginning of this year and intends to maintain a high level of support in the future, EBRD President Odile Renaud-Basso told President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the government and the Ukrainian business community during her third trip to Kyiv during the war.

EBRD expects Ukraine's economy to shrink 30% on year in 2022
KYIV, Sept 28 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) still expects Ukraine's economy to shrink by 30% in 2022, but it has downgraded its growth forecast for 2023 from 25% to 8%, according to the bank's Regional Economic Prospects report on Wednesday.

Ukraine seeking to boost bioenergy projects in diversification push

Ukrainian workers overseas send $906-mln back home in August
KYIV, Sept 29 - The volume of remittances of labor migrants to Ukraine in August amounted to $ 906 million, which is 11.1% less than in August 2019 ($1.02 billion), and 7.2% less than in the pre-quarantine February 2020 ($976 million), according to preliminary data on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

Investigation links Russian intelligence agencies to money laundering
KYIV, Sept 30 - A joint journalistic investigation of the Canadian television CBC, Radio Canada and Latvia's Neka Personiga (Nothing personal) has revealed the connection between the activities of the Russian intelligence agencies and the massive laundering of Russian money through shell companies in other countries, the website of the Crimean Reintegration Association reported.

China’s Skyrizon, DCH Group again resubmit bid for Motor Sich stake
KYIV, Oct 1 – Skyrizon, a subsidiary of Beijing Xinwei Technology Group, and the DCH Group of Ukrainian businessman Oleksandr Yaroslavsky submitted an updated joint application to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine on September 23 seeking to purchase PJSC Motor Sich, Xinwei said in a statement on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
