Ukraine boosts exports of ag, food products 24.3% to $13.07-bln in Jan-Sept

KYIV, Oct 31 – Exports of Ukrainian agricultural products grew by 24.3% in January-September 2017 year-over-year, to $13.07 billion or by 41.7% of total exports by the country, Ukraine's Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry has reported.


Ukraine may need extra gas if winter coal supplies insufficient

Ukrzaliznytsia completes drilling of new Beskydsky rail tunnel

KIEV, Nov. 1 – Ukrzaliznytsia has finished drilling of a new two-track Beskydsky tunnel on October 28 on schedule.

The company said Monday that the tunnel was drilled in two stages: the upper section and the lower section. A total of 1,764 meters were drilled.


Ukrainian housing and utility debt reported up 26.6% in September

KIEV, Nov. 1 - The debt of the Ukrainian public for housing and utilities services grew by 26.6% in September compared to August and amounted to UAH 12.038 billion, the State Statistics Service said.


ABH Holdings transfers Ukrsotsbank to Italy's UniCredit Group

KIEV, Nov. 1 - ABH Holdings S.A. (ABHH, Cyprus), which indirectly owns 100% of Alfa-Bank (Ukraine), and UniCredit Group (UCG) on October 31 announced the completion of a deal on the transfer of 99.9% in Ukrsotsbank (Kiev), UCG's asset in Ukraine, in exchange for a minority stake of 9.9% in ABHH, according to Alfa-Bank (Ukraine).


State Food-Grain Corp. mulling $500 million JV with China's CCEC

KIEV, Nov. 1 – Ukraine's State Food-Grain Corporation is mulling the possibility of implementing a joint project on modernization of elevators and building a new deep port terminal with China's CCEC.
