Demand seen for Ukrainian dairy products in EU, official says

KIEV, March 1 – Traditional Ukrainian dairy products could be promising for exports to the European Union to satisfy demand of ethnic groups of population, economist of the technical cooperation department of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (UN FAO) Andriy Yarmak said.


Real wages fell 13.2% in January, State Statistics Service reports

Ban on flour exports won't stop price rise, Lauffer Group says

KIEV, Feb. 27 – A ban on flour exports will not stop the rise in price of flour on the Ukrainian market, the Lauffer Group said.

"The ban on exporting flour will not be a hindering factor on price growth. The Ukrainian flour market does not face a shortage of flour, it has always seen extra amounts of flour," the company told Interfax-Ukraine.


Wage arrears up 11% in January, State Statistics Service reports

KIEV, Feb. 27 - The total sum of wage arrears in Ukraine rose 11% in January, the State Statistics Service reported.

According to the State Statistics Service, wage arrears on February 1, 2015 amounted to UAH 1.466 billion, or 5.1% of the monthly wage fund for January.


Naftogaz Ukrayiny pays Gazprom $15 million for March gas supplies
