Nuclear cooperation will enable Ukraine development, says official

KIEV, March 30 – Ukraine’s international cooperation in the sphere of nuclear security will allow the country to develop its own nuclear technologies, National Security and Defense Council Secretary Andriy Kliuyev said while commenting on Ukraine's removal of highly enriched uranium.

KIEV, April 2 - Denmark's Trigon Agri announced it is finalizing a deal on the acquisition of Novomyrhorodsky Elevator in Kirovohrad region and Yavkinsky Elevator in Mykolaiv region from Kiev-based Ramburs Group.


Ukrainian Danube Navigation doubles iron ore transit tariffs

KIEV, April 2 – Ukrainian Danube Navigation (Izmail) doubled its tariffs for iron ore transportation as of April 1.

"According to the calculations of Ukrainian Danube Navigation's specialists, the grounds for changing the tariffs include increases in the price of fuel, port duties, the price of ship steel and the strengthening of requirements of new European Union members on non-member countries," the company said on Tuesday.


UkrAvto executive predicts job cuts after WTO undergoes ratification

ZAPORIZHIA, April 2 - Ukrainian Automobile Corporation (UkrAvto), Ukraine's large passenger car producer, forecasts job cuts at its companies after the agreement on the country's joining the World Trade Organization is ratified, its deputy chairman, Oleh Papashev, said at a press conference in Zaporizhia.


Six state olbenergo stakes to be privatized at exchanges in May

KIEV, April 2 – The sales of the state stockholdings in six regional energy-supplying companies (oblenergos) will be held from May 14 until May 29 at the State Property Fund and will be organized by six Kiev stock exchanges, according to a Wednesday announcement in the Vidomosti of Privatization newspaper.
