Ukrgazvydobuvannia opens new gas fields in Kharkiv, Poltava regions
KYIV, July 2 - Ukrgazvydobuvannia in June 2019 opened new fields in Kharkiv and Poltava regions.
According to the press service of the company, in particular, in Kharkiv region, after testing an exploratory well with a depth of over 3,700 meters, an oil inflow was obtained. Oil resources in the field are about 130,000 tons. |
Ukraine launches 656 MW in renewable power capacity in April-June
KYIV, July 1 – Ukraine in April-June 2019 launched renewable generation facilities with a capacity of 656 MW, which is six times more than a year ago.

NBU expands list of ‘systemically important’ banks to 14

Ukraine reports May balance of payment deficit increase to $750-mln
KYIV, July 1 – The consolidated balance of payments of Ukraine in May 2019 saw a deficit of $750 million against a deficit of $45 million in April, a surplus of $652 million in March 2019 and $266 million in May 2018, which is associated with large payments on public debt and an increase in cash outside banks. |
