SPF to return UAH800 million of deposit bids to Frunze-Flora, Nortima

KIEV, Sept. 2 – The State Execution Service under a court ruling has collected UAH 800 million in deposit bids paid by Frunze-Flora and Nortima to take part in the privatization of Odessa Port-Side Plant in autumn 2009 from the Ukrainian State Property Fund.


Ukraine to step up dialog with US on solid rocket fuel disposal

KIEV, Sept. 1 – Ukraine is to step up its dialog with the United States on a program for the disposal of solid rocket fuel from RS 22 intercontinental ballistic missiles (SS 24 missiles, according to NATO classification) at the Pavlohrad Chemical Plant in Dnipropetrovsk region.


Ukraine resumes commercial electricity supply to Poland after break

KIEV, Sept. 2 – Ukraine resumed commercial electricity supplies to Poland at 12:45 a.m. on Sept. 1, said Fuel and Energy Minister Fent Di.

"The capacity of supplies is 120 MW through the Dobrotvorska heat power plant-Zamost 220 kV overhead transmission line," he said.

KIEV, Sept. 2 - Ukraine’s fourth-biggest oil refinery by capacity, Halychyna, suspended operation after failing to secure permission from regulators to continue production of gasoline with high sulfur content, an official at the refinery said Tuesday.
