EBRD plans to invest $1 billion in Ukraine in 2008, ‘if able’
KIEV, March 3 - The European Bank for the Reconstruction and Development could invest $1 billion in Ukraine in 2008, according to EBRD President Jean Lemierre.
"One billion dollars is the investment we're planning for this year... We have set plans to invest large sums, if we're able to do this," he told the press in Kiev.

EnergoAtom funding for nuclear fuel, waste boosted by regulator
KIEV, March 3 – The national nuclear generating company EnergoAtom in 2008 will be able to increase expenses on the purchase of nuclear fuel by 22.9% compared to 2007, to UAH3.228 billion, and expenses linked with removal of waste nuclear fuel by 40.9%, to UAH682.9 million.

Ukraine’s Gals Agro plans to supply bio-methane to Europe by end-February
KYIV, Feb 3 – The agricultural holding Gals Agro, which operates a bio methane plant with an annual capacity of 3 million cubic meters in Chernihiv region, Ukraine, plans its first bio methane delivery to Europe by late February, according to Oleh Riabov, head of the renewable energy division.
