EU to create routes for trade with Ukraine as Black Sea ports closed
KYIV, April 1 – The European Commission intends to create special trading routes between Poland and Ukraine to make sure food products and live animals can be moved as easily as possible in both directions, since most of its own vast food exports from Black Sea ports have been cut off by Russian attacks.

Gazprom provisions $4.7-bln payment to Ukraine after losing Stockholm dispute
MOSCOW, April 3 - Gazprom has provisioned for the full amount of a fine on a transit contract with Naftogaz Ukrainy, despite published statements about the sum of the two arbitration rulings in disputes with the Ukrainian oil and gas company being $2.56 billion, or the difference between the fine of $4.673 billion and Naftogaz's confirmed gas debt of $2.018 billion. |
SPF approved 600 small state properties for sale via auctions in 2018
KYIV, April 3 - The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) approved the list of more than 600 objects of small-scale privatization to be sold in 2018, while first auctions could be announced at the end of June, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Maksym Nefyodov has said. |
Ukraine reduces Russian natural gas transit 13.3% in January-March
KYIV, April 2 - Ukraine in January-March reduced transit of natural gas through its gas transportation system (GTS) by 13.3% (by 3.095 billion cubic meters) compared to the same period in 2017, to 20.094 billion cubic meters, according to data of PJSC Ukrtransgaz. |
