 KYIV, Sept 26 - Nova Poshta is starting preparations for the high season of sales for the New Year and is inviting carriers with trucks to cooperate, predicting a 35-40% increase in shipments this year compared to summer, the company's press service reported on Monday.

 | Tobacco market in Ukraine stops expansion after massive growth in 2020 
 KYIV, Sept 24 – The growth of the heated tobacco products market in 2021 has stopped after its growth by 80% in 2020. In the future the market will decline due to an increase in the excise tax on heated tobacco products by 320% from January 1, 2021, Managing Director for Ukraine of international tobacco company Philip Morris Kostas Salvaras has told Interfax-Ukraine.

 | Ukraine’s insurance market shrinks 32.5% since 2014 on regulatory problems 
 KYIV, Sept 27 – The share of insurance in Ukraine's GDP is very low and has a downward trend: since 2014 and as of June 30, 2021, it has decreased from 1.69% to 1.14% (by 32.5%), Director General of the Insurance Business Association Viacheslav Cherniakhovsky said at the XXI International Financial Forum in Odesa.

 KYIV, Sept 27 – Ukraine is facing a massive reduction or complete suspension of the transit of Russian natural gas to Europe via Ukrainian gas pipelines after Russia has signed a separate supply deal with Hungary, Serhiy Makohon, the head of the GTSOU gas shipper said Monday.
