Government asks Parliament to increase excise on booze and cigarettes

KIEV, July 3 – The government has proposed that Parliament increase the excise duties on beer, spirit, alcohol and tobacco by 4.6-11.7% in 2014 under the annual excise duty indexation procedure foreseen in the Tax Code of Ukraine.
