Government to create agency to support Ukrainian export trade
KIEV, Nov. 3 – The Ukrainian government is planning to create an export-credit agency to support national exports.
The initiative is stipulated in draft law No. 9373 on the state financial support of exports, which was registered in Parliament on November 1. |
There are no auto import quotas in EU trade deal, says official
KIEV, Nov. 1 – There are no quotas on car imports from Europe to Ukraine in the EU trade deal, and the announced number of 45,000 cars per year is only an indicator on which protective measures to regulate the share of European cars on the Ukrainian market will be based, the Ukrainian government's commissioner for European integration, Valeriy Piatnytsky, said in an interview with the Mirror Weekly Ukraine. |
ArcelorMittal union pushing for company to sign sector agreement
KIEV, Nov. 3 – The trade union of ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region) is insisting the company's administration urgently sign a sector agreement for 2011-2012.
An address of the trade union committee published in the trade union's newspaper expresses anxiety at the situation at the enterprise, which is said was cause for rather justifiable alarm and which creates grounds for unrest in the workforce. |
