Ukraine likely to cut 20% sugar output in 2019-2020 season
KYIV, Feb 28 – Sugar production in the 2019/20 agricultural year (September-August) in Ukraine will be 1.5-1.6 million tons, which is 15-20% less than in the previous agri-year, Deputy Board Chairperson of the Ukrtsukor Association Ruslana Butylo has said at the Sugar World 2019 congress. |
MHP completes 12-MW biogas plant in Vinnytsia region
KYIV, March 1 – Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP) has completed the first phase of a biogas complex with a capacity of 12 MW at the Ladyzhyn poultry farm in Vinnytsia region and in March the plant will start generating electricity from biogas, MHP ECO Energy Director Ivan Traksler said at the Ukrainian Energy Forum on Thursday. |
Naftogaz may add gas to storage if Gazprom stops gas shipments
KYIV, March 1 – National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy is mulling a possibility of adding an additional volume of gas to the underground gas storage facilities of Ukraine if Russia's Gazprom stops gas transit across the country after 2019, Naftogaz CEO Andriy Kobolev told reporters after a press conference in Kyiv on Friday.

EuroCape to install first 98MW wind power turbines will in Zaporizhia

Ukrainian banks boost revenue 38% on year in January
KYIV, March 1 – Revenue of Ukrainian banks, not taking into account insolvent ones, totaled UAH 20.18 billion in January 2019, which is 38% more than in January 2018, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has reported on its website. |
