KYIV, March 3 – Severodonetsk Azot, part of Dmytro Firtash's Group DF nitrogen business, has begun preparatory work to launch workshops of ammonia and carbamide production, a representative of Group DF has said.

Ukraine likely to cut 20% sugar output in 2019-2020 season

Ukraine to increase duties on ferrous scrap metal to fight shortage

KYIV, March 1 – Parliament has passed in second reading a bill aimed at reduction of shortage of scrap ferrous metals on the domestic market (No. 9474), increasing the scrap export duty from EUR 42 to EUR 58 per ton and extending it for two more years.


MHP completes 12-MW biogas plant in Vinnytsia region

KYIV, March 1 – Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP) has completed the first phase of a biogas complex with a capacity of 12 MW at the Ladyzhyn poultry farm in Vinnytsia region and in March the plant will start generating electricity from biogas, MHP ECO Energy Director Ivan Traksler said at the Ukrainian Energy Forum on Thursday.


Naftogaz may add gas to storage if Gazprom stops gas shipments
