USAID's shutdown may affect Ukraine’s critical energy sector support
KYIV, March 4 – The potential cessation of USAID's support for Ukraine's energy sector recovery presents a challenge, particularly for critical infrastructure facilities. However, the issue can be addressed by finding alternative funding sources, according to Olha Babiy, former member of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission of Ukraine (NEURC) and an energy sector expert.

Investments in Ukraine’s technology sector increase 120% on year in 2024
KYIV, March 4 - The volume of investments in the Ukrainian technology sector in 2024 increased by 120% compared to the figure in 2023, according to the annual review of the Ukrainian technology investment ecosystem Dealbook of Ukraine prepared by the investment company AVentures Capital.

Business Confidence rises 2 percentage points "minus" 9% in February
KYIV, March 4 – The indicator of business confidence in industry in Ukraine increased by 2 percentage points in February 2024, compared to January 2023, to "minus" 9%, while in the processing industry it increased by 3.6 percentage points, to "minus" 8.3%, the State Statistics Service reported.

Croatian-German consortium to build 750kV substation for Ukrenergo
KYIV, March 3 – National energy company Ukrenergo has signed a three-year contract with Croatian-German consortium Dalekovod JSC/General Electric Grid GmbH to reconstruct the 750 kV Dniprovska substation in Dnipropetrovsk region for the amount of EUR 31 million, Ukrenergo reported on Tuesday. |
