KIEV, Aug. 3 – Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroysman has said that the starting price of Odessa Port-Side Chemical Plant was set too high but expressed confidence that the State Property Fund would make it possible to re-launch the failed tender to sell the plant.


NBU moves to allow individuals to buy and sell foreign currency

KIEV, Aug. 3 – The National Bank of Ukraine starting August 10 has permitted individuals to buy and sell foreign currency equivalent to up to UAH 150,000 without presenting their ID documents (passports).

KIEV, Aug. 4 – Coal stored at Ukrainian thermal power plant warehouses shrank by 8.4%, or 1,216 tons, to 1.320 million tons from July 27 to August 3, Ukrenergo reported.

Oschadbank gets another 7 years to pay off $1.8 billion LPNs

KIEV, Aug. 4 – Oschadbank has agreed to re-profile its 2016 and 2018 $1.2 billion loan participation notes, giving the state bank an additional seven years to pay off the principal and giving noteholders a coupon rate increase, the bank said in a statement after a noteholders vote on August 3.


Ivano-Frankivskcement to soon launch high-tech cement production line
