Ukraine’s bread prices to grow reflecting higher costs: Bakers Union
KYIV, Oct 2 - The rise in the cost of wheat and its processed products, the rise in prices for sugar, sunflower oil and other ingredients for the production of bread and bakery products, as well as the devaluation of the hryvnia by almost 20% from the beginning of 2020 will lead to an increase in the price of bread, Vice President of the Ukrainian Bakers' Association Yuriy Duchenko said.

Ukraine’s illegal cigarette market doubles in Jan-June, JTI says
KYIV, Oct 3 – JTI Ukraine, a major cigarette producer, said that the illegal cigarette market in Ukraine doubled in January-June 2018, to 4.5%.
"The illegal market is growing. According to the latest report by TNS, the share of illegal cigarettes of the market is already 4.5%. The pace is alarming, since during this year the illegal market has more than doubled. |
Kness Group to build 33 MW-capacity solar power plants
KYIV, Oct 2 – The Kness Group, a large Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) contractor on the Ukrainian alternative energy market, this year started building own solar power plants and soon intends to launch the capacity of 33 MW, Kness Director General Serhiy Shakalov said. |
