European Investment Bank to provide EUR 450-mln for Ukrainian recovery

Centerenergo power generator may switch to gas amid coal shortages

Ukraine seeks emergency power imports from Belarus on coal shortages
KYIV, Nov 3 – Transmission system operator NPC Ukrenergo said the reason for activation of emergency assistance from Belarus and Slovakia in power supply on November 2 was the lack of capacity in the Integrated Power System of Ukraine and in Burshtyn TPP Island due to increased accidents at power units of thermal power plants (TPPs).

Ukraine’s steel pipe producers increase output 15.9% on year in Jan-Oct
KYIV, Nov 3 - The main pipe enterprises of Ukraine in January-October this year increased production of pipes from ferrous metals, according to recent data, by 15.9% compared to the same period last year - to 821,600 tons, in particular in October – 79,300 tons, while in September – 93,900 tons.
