Ukraine lists Energoatom, Ukrnergo, Ukrhydroenergo as not up for grabs
KYIV, Feb 4 – The list of enterprises, 100% stakes in which are to be left in ownership of the state, according to bill No. 2831, includes nclear power generator Energoatom, hydro-power producer Ukrhydroenergo, power grid Ukrenergo and gas pipeline operator Mahistralni Gazoprovody Ukrayiny (MGU). |
Italy's Ernest Airlines to fly from Kyiv to Tirana, Rome, Genoa in 2019
KYIV, Feb 4 – Italy's Ernest Airlines plans to open new destinations from Kyiv to Tirana, Rome and Genoa in 2019.
"The Ernest network is rapidly developing in directions between Italy, Albania and Ukraine. New flights from Kyiv Airport (Zhuliany) will be carried out to Tirana, Rome and Genoa," the airport's press service has said. |
Westinghouse nuclear fuel may be loaded into South-Ukrainian plant
KYIV, Feb 4 – Nuclear fuel produced by the U.S.-based Westinghouse Electric Corporation can be loaded amid the active phase of the second power unit of South-Ukrainian nuclear power plant (NPP) by 2020, Director General of the NPP Volodymyr Lisnichenko told the parliament's newspaper Holos Ukrainy in an interview. |
Ukrzaliznytsia reduces frequency of trains running to Russia
KYIV, Feb 5 – Ukrzaliznytsia has reduced the frequency of trains running to the Russian Federation, and from February 5, 2019, trains No. 24/23 Odesa-Moscow-Odesa and No. 20/19 Kharkiv-Moscow-Kharkiv will run every other day instead of the daily service. |
Meest Express to launch drop-off, pick-up points to boost parcel business
KYIV, Feb 5 – The postal and logistics operator Meest Express Trading House LLC (Meest Express, Lviv) plans to develop the chain of its drop-off and pick-up points and increase the number of automated parcel terminals in Ukraine in 2019, CEO and President of the Meest Group Rostyslav Kisil told the Top 100 Ratings magazine in an interview. |
