Leading business lobby groups ask govt to review electronic tax audit
KYIV, Feb 4 – Leading Ukrainian business associations, including the European Business Association (EBA), the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine (NABU), and the Forum for Leading International Financial Institutions (FLIFI), have called on the government to review the process of implementing the electronic format for comprehensive tax audit information (SAF-T UA).

IAEA praises Ukraine’s plans to build more nuclear power units
KYIV, Feb 4 – The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) considers the decision on whether to complete units 3 and 4 of the Khmelnytsky Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) an internal matter for Ukraine. The agency's mission is to ensure compliance with nuclear safety standards, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said.

Ukraine needs to import 1 Bcm by end-2025, Energy Minister says
KYIV, Feb 5 - Ukraine will need to import approximately 1 billion cubic meters of natural gas by the end of 2025, and possibly more, which will depend on its volumes at the end of the autumn-winter period, taking into account the shelling of the gas infrastructure by the Russian Federation, believes Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko.

Ukraine’s Business Outlook Index hits 12-month low of 40.5 in January
KYIV, Feb 2 – The Business Outlook Index (BOI), calculated by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), in January hit a low not seen over the last 12 months – 40.5 from 48.6 in December, and continued to fall below the neutral level, as testify to the results of a survey of enterprises conducted by the central bank released on Tuesday.

Ukraine 2021 grain exports rise to $12.3-bln, led by China, Egypt, Turkey
KYIV, Feb 3 – Ukraine's revenue from export of grain crops in 2021 amounted to $12.3 billion, the largest trading partners were China, which imported $2.55 billion, as well as Egypt ($1.39 billion) and Turkey ($0.92 billion), the Institute of Agrarian Economics (IAE) reported on its website on Thursday.
