Official: Investors to spend $1b to ready ski resort for Olympics

IVANO-FRANKIVSK, March 3 – Investors in the Bukovel ski resort (Polianytsia, Yaremche district, Ivano-Frankivsk region) are ready to spend around $1 billion on the development of skiing infrastructure if Ukraine wins the right to host the 2022 Winter Olympics.


ZAlK ready to resume production if it can get cheap electricity

KIEV, March 4 - Japan's Sumitomo Corporation is interested in participating in the construction of subways in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine's transport ministry said.

According to a report by the ministry, the issue was discussed at a meeting of the senior manager of the Ukrainian representative office of Sumitomo, Shiro Nishioka, the manager of the transport project group in Russia Onoe and the manager of the transport project and equipment department in Japan Koji Aso with Ukrainian transport and Communications Minister Yosyp Vinsky.


Nadra administrators trying to get depositors to accept collateral

KIEV, March 5 – The provisional administration at Kiev-based Nadra Bank has proposed that depositors whose deposits have expired accept in place the bank's collateralized property.

"The bank proposes to clients whose deposits have expired, and who want to access their funds now, to replace their deposits with the bank's collateralized property: apartments, land plots, cars, the owners of which have asked the bank for help to sell them due to their inability to repay credits.
